Rob Furey
Dr Rob Furey earned his doctorate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Life Sciences program with a specialization in ethology centered around social aspects of spider behavior. Before coming to Harrisburg University he has been associate professor of behavioral science at the Université Henri Poincaré, Vandouvre les Nancy, France, visiting European researcher at the Free University of Brussels, and assistant professor in New Century College at George Mason University. He has been working closely with the Dauphin County Coroner’s office as forensic entomologist and sworn deputy since January 1, 2006. Complimentary activities include director of the environmental education center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, guide and science advisor to a Partridge Films film crew in Equatorial West Africa and a regular science column in Aeon Magazine. He graduated from The Clarion West Writers' Workshop in 1997 and has published short fiction in several anthologies. He has taught genre television production and currently teaches creative writing. He resides in Central Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter. |
Bob Kruger
Bob Kruger has been a writer, editor, publisher, and software developer for many years. He’s worked on hobby games, computer games, and fiction projects at companies including Wizards of the Coast and Microsoft. He’s a 1997 graduate of the Clarion West Writers’ Workshop, and in 2000, he founded ElectricStory.com to e-publish work by several of his favorite authors. He currently lives in Central Oregon with his wife and daughter. |
